In January 2024, global money app, Zing emerged on the fintech scene as a free, multi-currency app and card designed to make international money worry-free.  Nine months later, it has signed its first major sponsorship package as it partners with Premier League team Brentford FC.

Starting in the 24/25 season, the deal will see the international payments provider sign on as Brentford’s official payments and remittance partner. Zing users can benefit from being able to spend and exchange money around the world easily, with real-time exchange rates and no hidden fees.

James Allan, founder and CEO of Zing

James Allan, founder and CEO of Zing commented: “Innovation and growth sits at the heart of everything we do at Zing and our partnership with Brentford is an exciting opportunity for us to take the Zing story to a whole new audience.

“Like the Bees, we pride ourselves on speed, energy and commitment to deliver our best. With no hidden costs, real-time exchange rates, and spending less on fees, we’re looking forward to bringing Zing to Brentford FC fans.

“Look out for exciting news and fan exclusives throughout the season!”

As a new member of the Brentford community, Zing will be treating four fans to premium hospitality tickets when Brentford FC take on West Ham at the Gtech Community Stadium on 28 September at 3pm.

Fans can also take advantage of up to £500 fee-free currency conversion ahead of the international break in October, in support of the 16 Brentford players on international duty. Zing members can convert up to £500 or equivalent currency each calendar month up to 31 December 2024.
